『陸』 密蘇里科技大學 （ MST） 土木工程 （ Civil Engineering ） 怎麼樣
建議你轉行，土木在美國找工作非常難，現在已經萎縮了。建議你轉成EE或者CS，找工作會容易千百倍。我特別後悔自己選了土木，其實讀個CS的碩士比讀個土木的PhD容易多了，而且找工作比土木的PhD好找太多了。我周圍很多本科比我差的人，由於讀了CS都在美國找到好工作了。
如果你堅持非土木不讀，建議你去專業排名前十的學校，這樣在你paper很多而且導師很給力的情況下，找工業界和高校或許有點機會。如果你申請不到好學校，那就轉行吧，或者別出國。
你要是去這么一般的學校讀個土木PhD，按照現在就業形勢的日益嚴峻，等你畢業的時候，別說在美國找工作，相信你回國去高校都沒機會了。現在國內高校招人也是水漲船高，和幾年前也不一樣了。

據我了解，申請做陳根達教授的博士生很多，所以競爭性很強。
土木工程無論在哪個國家都直接關繫到人民的日常生活，所以工作機會多，在美國也是一樣的，即使在經濟蕭條時期，找工作也比較容易。但是本科畢業生就比較難了，因為美國人不願意讀博士，也很少有美國人讀碩士，所以要與美國人競爭，因而處於劣勢，而對於中國人來說，博士畢業後，反而容易找工作，畢竟有些更有深度的工作，本科生是做不了的。在美國土木工程在工業界的收入是中等。
