自我介紹時應該記住“3P原則”：Positive(自信)，Personal(個性),Pertinent(中肯)。談吐自信，就是要積極地進行自我肯定，讓面試人充分了解你的優點與潛能。突出個性，就是要把自己與眾不同的.特點發揮出來，強調自己的專業與能力。語氣中肯，就是要實事求是，不要言過其實，誇誇其談，也不要涉及和自己無關的事情。

自我介紹應簡潔明了，給面試人留下思路清晰、反應快捷、邏輯性強的印象。自我介紹時間不宜太長，話不宜太多，最好控制在五分鍾之內。不要一談起自己就口若懸河，滔滔不絕，以免言多語失。另外，在自我介紹時應避免過多地使用“I”(我)，不要每個句子一開頭就冒出一個“I”字，給人留下自我標榜、以自我為中心的印象。

靈活的應聘者往往會把“我”開頭的話，變成“你”字打頭。例如，面試人說：“?”(請你談談自己的情況好嗎?)應聘者則說：“?”(你想讓我談談我個人的生活呢，還是與這份工作有關的問題?)這樣，你的談話就把面試人擺了進去。這種談話的方式所產生的效果是不言而喻的。面試畢竟是面試人與應聘者互相溝通的一種場合，應聘者時常把面試人擺進自己的談話當中去，自然而然就起到了互相溝通的作用。

圍繞3方面表現

回答問題時口齒要清晰、語調適中。內容要有條理、避免重復。介紹工作經歷採用倒序，從最近一份工作談起，著重強調有利於新工作的職務經歷。最好能說明曾擔任何種職務、實際成績、業績等，以及自己的工作對原來公司的影響。凡和此次應征不相關的內容，盡量避免提及。話題緊扣以下3方面來展現自己的優勢。

能力當你知道招聘單位目前急於用人時，首先把自己的專長講足說夠，然後順理成章地得出結論：I think your unit needs a man like me.(我想，貴單位需要象我這樣的人才。)用這樣的句式，讓面試人認為你是站在他們的立場上說話，在替他們的發展考慮問題，於是更容易接受你。陳述自己的任職資格時，可以這么開頭：I’mqualifiedforthejobbe鄄cause……(我能勝任這項工作，是因為……)接著陳述理由。當面試人在審視你究竟能不能勝任此職時，參照的標准已不再是他心目中的標准，而是你列舉的理由。

業績外國公司面試喜歡用事實說話，為了證明你的能力，你可以把過去的經歷聯系起來，說明你曾經為以前的公司解決過跟現在僱主所面臨的類似問題:,000setsinoneyear.(我開發了上海市場，一年銷售出去5萬套。)

誠意某個問題發表完見解之後，可以附帶加上一句：I'dliketohearyouropinion.(我很想聽聽你的意見。)這句話表明了你對面試人的尊敬，很容易使他(她)產生親切感。當面試人在試探你的應聘誠意時，應該及時表態：Sofarasthatiscon鄄cerned,.(談到這里，您一定已經明白我的決心。)問些與工作內容相關的問題，能表現你對這份工作的興趣。如： ? (您覺得這份工作所包含的職責還有哪些?)

I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. With tremendous interest in Instrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graate program. Ecation background
In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China』s best engineering schools. During the following undergraate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester, In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graate program waived of the admission test.
At the period of my graate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research.
