徐金梧，男，漢族，生於1949年4月，浙江寧波人。1976年11月加入中國共產黨。現任北京科技大學校長。

1968年5月至1973年9月，黑龍江生產建設兵團38團職工。1973年9月至1976年12月，北京鋼鐵學院機械繫學生。1976年12月至1978年10月，浙江寧波動力機廠技術員。1978年10月至1981年3月，北京鋼鐵學院機械繫碩士研究生，獲碩士學位。1981年3月至1983年10月，北京鋼鐵學院機械繫教師、助教。1983年10月至1984年4月，西德慕尼黑德語培訓中心學習。1984年4月至1988年12月，德國亞琛工業大學機械繫留學，獲博士學位。1989年1月至1993年3月，北京科技大學機械繫講師、副教授、教授、博士生導師。1993年3月至2004年7月，北京科技大學副校長。2004年7月至今，北京科技大學校長，兼任中國金屬學會常務理事、冶金設備學會理事長、中國高校科研管理協會副理事長等職務。
