What is more, it is crucial to broaden their horizon and expand their social knowledge before going to study in a university. As I know, many students only focus on the knowledge they can learn from school which was pretty limited and they hardly know about the outside world. Nevertheless, doing some job or have a trip not only can provide them with the comprehensive knowledge of the outside world, but also can make them understand what is needed in the employment after graation, as well as getting a clear perspective of what they are hoping to do.

Working or traveling over a year seems to waste too much time for a young person.
