我們大多數人都知道,或自以為知道,這應該怪誰:怪執法不嚴的法庭,怪軟弱無能的校董會,怪荒唐可笑的政府法令。要找個頂罪的壞蛋很容易。

但也許問題不是在於我們的機制而是在於我們的態度。可悲的是, 雖然我們大多數人都聲稱自己相信教育的價值, 但我們卻不重視智力活動。
