3. 北京語言大學09秋《大學英語》（一）第二次作業

1.B （第一個詞是不是young?） 意思是說 年輕人不滿足站在一邊觀看藝術 他們希望投身於藝術的創作中。Content 相當於 satisfied 、pleased
2.D 意思是 我後悔告訴他這個消息。 regret doing sth. 這是regret 做」後悔」講的用法。除此之外，regret to do sth 意思是」很遺憾。。。」常用在比如： I regret to tell you that you have failed in the exam.
3.B 這本教科書是十年前編輯的，現在需要修改了。Need 在此處的用法為 it needs to be done 或者it needs being done 所以答案應該是It needs to be revised或者It needs being revised
與此類似的題目還有 衣服需要洗了 作業需要寫了等等。
4.C 此處live 為副詞作狀語 意思是「現場直播地」。
5.A 意思是 在離開書店之前 我一下子看到了我想找的那本書。Catch sight of 為固定片語 ：看到… …
6.C 意思是 他願意和母親住在一起而不是讓母親單獨居住。
Prefer to do sth. (rather) than do sth. 關於prefer的常見用法還有： prefer doing sth to doing sth
7.D yield to sb 意思是 屈服於 某人 相當於give in to sb./succumb to sb 整句話意思是:他向顧客屈服，將價格減半。
8.C communicate with sb: 與某人溝通、交流。A、B均為及物動詞。D意思不對。
9.A 意思是 如果有更多的時間和經驗，他會將這件事做得更好。多麼可惜啊
10.A 意思是：這則火災新聞後緊跟著一篇在火災現場所做的詳細報道。On the spot: 在目擊現場。是固定搭配。
11.C enre to do sth.: 忍受做某事。（還可以enredoing sth）
例如：She could not enre to see animals cruelly treated.
整句話意思是：他不能忍受孩子們被如此虐待。
12.A make sure that you +v.
13.A be worth +名詞 或 動詞ing形式 意思是：值得做某事。比如：this place is worth a visit /this place is worth visiting. 關於worthy 用法為：be worthy to be done /be worthy of being done 不可直接加名詞。
14.B 這題是現在分詞作時間狀語。首先，前後邏輯主語必須一致，前面分句的邏輯主語是he, 所以後面應該是he開頭.其次，後面的lost 應該使用過去分詞形式，因為錢包是被丟，使用被動語態。
15.B 與上題同理應該使用被動語態，在B/D裡面選。根據搭配focus on sth.應該選B
16.C 意思是 他住在那裡是如此滿意以至於他不想去任何其他地方。和上面某題一樣也是考content。A要改成 pleased才對，B顯然不對。D：使人愉悅的，用來指物。
17.A 句子大結構是表語從句，用what 不能用which（不是表語從句引導詞） 後面用is 還是are 取決於前面的pair是單數還是復數（這是規則）
18.A 這里是主動表被動。經常用於 I have some homework to do /I have some clothes to wash 這種句子里。改成疑問句同理。
19.A 放入一個窗戶需要切掉部分屋頂 include：包括（這份工作包括…）involve 是指與。。。有關聯 有牽涉 放在此處不妥
20.B make sure: 保證、確保… 這個句子本質上是祈使句，而assure 不能用於祈使句開頭。
