Lastly, I want to do something for them, as you know, I am from the undeveloped zone and I experince and understand how hard they live. So I'd like to devot my career to it after my graation. If there is any chance, please let me know and hope you can take me into consideration prior to any volunteer. If so, you will be highly appriciated.

To this day I expressly remember nobody but two Eng. Teachers. (The other one is your “clone”.) It is incomparable riches that one has several good teachers in life. The groundsill of my Eng. (i.e. “foundation”, I just know the lowest layer of a building is “groundsill” not “foundation” until I learnt civil engineering in college.) was temped hard by you, and I benefit from your enlightening all the time.
But my Eng. classes have dropped behind all along in senior high school by reason of unacceptable teaching method and teachers of poor knowledge. Then I start it from self-culture for the devotion of Eng. And it fully depended on the groundsill in junior high school to make me keep middle level, and nobody knew it. I really need a good teacher as a guide for sure. Although they disappoint me so much, the key of matter is that I do not understand why our classmates tried to be the first to answer the questions in junior high school, but why they always said ”sorry” when they were asked to do that forcibly by teachers.
So the factor of surroundings can affect one very much. I miss the time of being your pupil.
I have ever been a leader of EPPO (Eng. Popularization and Promoting Org.) of our department in college. And I found it not amused, one is e to my narrow ability, another is that I was not able to interest them at all like you. Also found the Eng. ecation must be popularized, besides, it is necessary to try hard in bringing up their interest in learning Eng.
I think the best time of learning Eng. is in high school. (Maybe it changed with reforming of teaching materials) In junior high school, we need spending more time in training to be interested in it, and demand us to do more exercises such as reading and remembering, especially emphasizing the accuracy for pronunciation. It does work well for listening ability. We have learnt nearly all the grammar phrase structures before the second year of senior high school, and it demand us to do more exercises in listening, reading, speaking, writing, translating, in spite of such these assignments, all of those is the students’ problems. It should be piled up every little bit, and of no effect in provisional remediation. Actually learning a language only need nothing but those right exercises, still to find a correct method for oneself, added diligence, patience, enthusiasm (your word). That is bothersome in doing something disliked. (well, I brought up my interest by Eng. music, movies, chatting with foreigner from internet, and longing for West culture)
My speciality is architecture while in college, and work at a Construction Design Company in LinZi now. I took part time to keep on study because of infinite knowledge of architecture. Hardly did I say “byebye” with Eng. when I failed the CET-4 in university.(there exist a good few objective factors indeed!), but I have never given it up.
I always expected to look in you teachers from cantonal experiment high school. But I felt great shame to live with falling behind and could face you without face. So I have had a promise that my parents agreed with by myself: I’ll appear front of you all, whenever getting genuine progress. Pity it is late for 6 years.
And now, three dwelling houses that I designed will be built up in LinZi. And eight suits of modern house plans of my proctions have sent to Borough Government for bid, which took me 3 days and 3 nights to accomplish the day before Teacher’s Day. I got little proud of the small fruit and want to share it with everybody. The moment I made a decision that I was going to look in my teachers in the Teachers’ Day. Yet soon I went back to company in a hurry, because I had to deal with some affairs about blueprint checkups, to my regret, I have no time see you. I’ll be to redeem my promise. I can forget anything but those notes and the knowledge you taught, which was continued to use to this day.
