徐金梧，男，汉族，生于1949年4月，浙江宁波人。1976年11月加入中国共产党。现任北京科技大学校长。

1968年5月至1973年9月，黑龙江生产建设兵团38团职工。1973年9月至1976年12月，北京钢铁学院机械系学生。1976年12月至1978年10月，浙江宁波动力机厂技术员。1978年10月至1981年3月，北京钢铁学院机械系硕士研究生，获硕士学位。1981年3月至1983年10月，北京钢铁学院机械系教师、助教。1983年10月至1984年4月，西德慕尼黑德语培训中心学习。1984年4月至1988年12月，德国亚琛工业大学机械系留学，获博士学位。1989年1月至1993年3月，北京科技大学机械系讲师、副教授、教授、博士生导师。1993年3月至2004年7月，北京科技大学副校长。2004年7月至今，北京科技大学校长，兼任中国金属学会常务理事、冶金设备学会理事长、中国高校科研管理协会副理事长等职务。
