To some degree, it has become part of our daily life. We can do a lot of things online, such as searching for information and communicating with friends far and near. But recently another helpful online activity has become very "in". That is online ecation.
Why could online ecation be so popular within such a short period of time? Among all the reasons, the quick development of the internet should be the essential one, which makes our dreams of attending class in the distance possible. Another underlying reason is the quick development of both society and technology. Today, modern science and technology are developing at lightening speed. To catch up with the development we all feel an urgent and strong desire to study. However, e to the great pace of modern society, many people are too busy to study full time at school. Online ecation just comes to their aid.

Personally, I appreciate this new form of ecation. It’s indeed a helpful complement to the traditional ecation system. It can provide different learners with more flexible and versatile ways of learning. Most of all, with online ecation, we can absorb the latest knowledge while working.
Part II Reading Comprehension (Skimming and Scanning)

2013年8月14日，久未更新的四六级官网（http://www.cet.e.cn）
推出重磅改革消息，宣布13年12月四六级考试将出现题目变化，具体内容：
考试顺序进行了调整，原先是，
写作，快速阅读，听力，阅读，翻译；
调整后，变为了：写作，听力，阅读，翻译。更加具有系统性和流畅性
考试时间，由原来的120分钟，增加到了130分钟；时间增长，主要来自
翻译部分时间的加长，30分钟！
CET-4四级具体变化如下：
1. 完型填空
彻底取消；这个我们从初中英语考试就熟悉的题型，化为乌有咯~
2. 听写
复合式听写考察10个单词或短语的填空，不再考察句子，难度系数略微下降；
3. 阅读
取消快速阅读，改为段落信息匹配题；按照四六级官方公布的样卷，要求考生
给9个给定段落，选择一个信息匹配的表述；9个段落，对应10个匹配表述，
也就是说，有的匹配表述需要用到两处。
4. 翻译
之前5%分数的5个中译英的短句翻译，改为了140-160字的段落中译英翻译；
题材，涉及到中国地历史、文化、经济和社会发展；
比如，新四级的样卷，涉及的是paper-cutting（剪纸艺术）的内容：
新四级翻译样卷：
剪纸(paper cutting)是中国最为流行的传统民间艺术形式之一。中国剪纸有一千五百多年的历史,在明朝和清朝时期(the Ming and Qing Dynasties)特别流行。人们常用剪纸美化居家环境。特别是在春节和婚庆期间,剪纸被用来装饰门窗和房间,以增加喜庆的气氛。剪纸最常用的颜色是红色,象征健康和兴旺。中国剪纸在世界各地很受欢迎,经常被用作馈赠外国友人的礼物。

求考上把整篇英语文章全部翻译为汉语，意思正确得半分，语法正确得1分，单词翻译错误名次三处扣1分，形容词1处扣1分，其余2处扣1分，逻辑错误不影响其他句子含义的本句扣半分，影响其他句子含义的扣1分到1分半，翻译内容包含文章无关意思的每处扣3分。扣完为止。本题改革前难度系数0.89，改革后难度系数0.95
