可是如果填空的时候没有is呢？不是你说的那个意思哦。。。。就是说如果填空题是这样的When the camera （ ）properly,a green light comes on.这个空自己填的。
最佳答案 其实是一班现在时和正在进行时的区别，楼主要跟后面那句联系起来考虑---绿灯就亮了。
这句想表达的是相机正常使用时，就亮了。意思中含有正常工作和绿灯亮了同时进行的含义。
如果要用 When the camera functions properly，后面那句就应该是a green light is on。
其实真的要按照楼主的说法的话，也是可以的。英文到后面很多到后面都是凭语感的，如果不是为了考试，可以不用纠结这个的。
