虽然《应用文写作》这门课程，就其教授的内容来看，课程内容比较单一，上课时会比较地枯燥，但是在魏老师的带领下，我们从未有过这种感觉。每节课程魏老师会将许多我们感兴趣的东西穿插于他的教学当中，活跃课堂的气氛，调动我们学生学习的积极性。

魏老师在课堂上教给我们古代汉字是如何演变的，让我们感受到汉字的奥秘并且感叹古人伟大的创造思维能力。魏老师也曾教给我们关于中国春联的一些基础知识，给我们举出了许多具有很具有代表性的例子，每一副对联都有着深刻的寓意，富含许多深刻的哲理的知识，并且蕴藏着无穷的只会。

让我们每一个听他讲课的人都目瞪口呆，感觉对联真的是太美好了。魏老师在给我们上关于广告写作课程的时候，他找到了大量的资料，将每一种广告的修饰手法都列举了许多例子让我们来充分地理解……因此，虽然课程内容单调，但是在魏老师的调动下，我们对应用文写作的热情却在持续升温中。
