『壹』 美國大學申請表怎麼填
成功申請美國留學後，很多學生在填寫美國大學的入學申請表時會有很多困惑。一起看看在填寫美國大學入學申請表的過程中都有哪些常見問題。
(1) In filling the recommendation form，in what capacity
推薦人和你的關系，一般填Professor、Teacher或者Advisor.
(2) permanent residents
指的是擁有永久居留權，即綠卡
(3) Temporary address & Permament address該怎樣填?
The permanent address填父母的地址。The temporary
address填現在的住址，比如學校，但需註明何時終止。如果你不註明，通常I-20會寄到permanent address。或者在Permanent
address處填寫你現在宿舍的地址，在temporary address處填寫你租用的信箱的地址。
(4) List the faculty you have contacted or expected to contact concerning
your application for admission to XXX Univ.
如果你和某個教授聯系過，可以填上教授的名字，不會有壞處。對於有些學校的一些系，這項是非常重要的，需要注意。
(5) Source of Funds
如果你申請，就不需要填寫這一項，或者多少填一些，也可以添$0。
(6) ETHNICITY
種族，中國學生不填。
(7) GRE Mathematical Score/Percentile
總分和百分比，例如 800/99%，
(8) If your acceptance of admission is contingent on receipt of a financial
aid award，explain why it is necessary.
填你沒有其它經濟來源，必須獲得獎學金資助就可以。
(9) What is the minimum amount of financial aid you need to allow you to
attend XXX Univ.
學費、生活費以及醫療保險費用等的總和，一般在學校的申請材料上可以找到，也可以不填。

填推薦人供職的單位
(11) Non-immigrant: Visa type (F-1) expected
學生一般填 F-1， 除非你是作為學者出訪 (J-1)
(12) GPA calculation: Undergraate there are cumulative (overall):
____，Upper division work GPA: _____ 怎麼填?
GPA的通常演算法為將所有課程的成績轉換成4分制，然後按照學分加權平均。
upper division work GPA指後兩年的GPA。
(13) 填表時發現填TOEFL成績時有以下6項：Section 1，Section 2，Section 3，Ws，Total，Year
Taken。Ws指的是什麼?
Ws為Write sample，即TWE。
(14) Do you claim XXXX Residence for Tuition Purposes?
對於國際學生，該項空著不填
(15) Racial/Ethnic Heritage怎麼填?
一般說來都是只針對美國公民的，而且一般說明是optional，可填可不填。
(16) specialization與major
major指專業，比如 computer science;
specialization指研究方向，比如 programming languages.
(17) What is tertiary ecation equal to ecation?
Primary-secondary-tertiary，所以tertiary 等於college ecation (包括).
(18) What is of Alien Registration Card?
持有綠卡的人才有。
(19) What is the number of legal dependents other than you?
陪讀的人數。
(20) What is FAFSA?
FAFSA——The Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It is for Americans，not
for you.
去美國留學的同學注意了，如果在填表過程中有不懂的地方應該空出來，Financial以及Affidavit of
Support相關的地方要麼填零，要麼不填。對中國學生不適用或不知道的地方填 N/A。最後一定要簽名。

所以建議你最好到自己想申請的學校網站招生網頁查找確切的截止日期。
美國一般大學的秋季入學時間大部分是9月份，根據學校不同，日期有變化，不統一；
