⑴ 數學建模美賽全稱

美國大學生數學建模競賽（MCM/ICM）由美國數學及其應用聯合會主辦，是唯一的國際性數學建模競賽，也是世界范圍內最具影響力的數學建模競賽。賽題內容涉及經濟、管理、環境、資源、生態、醫學、安全、等眾多領域。

美國大學生數學建模競賽每年的比賽時間一般定在二月初，需要通過官方網站報名，而且需要有固定的指導教師。一般各大高校均會組織感興趣的同學進行賽前培訓以及報名、交費等事宜。

由於該大賽有來自世界各個國家的大學生參賽，故偶爾會因為某些事而更改時間。像2013年美國大學生數學建模競賽比賽時間起初安排在中國農歷年的大年初一至大年初五四天三夜。後經中國方面協商更改與中國農歷年小年左右。

⑵ 2016大學生數學建模競賽什麼時間

據美國大學生數學建模競賽（MCM/ICM）主辦單位美國數學及應用聯合會（COMAP）網站消息，2016年MCM/ICM美國大學生數學建模競賽時間為：

• 美國東部時間2016年1月28日20點至2月1日20點，即北京時間2016年1月29日（農歷月臘月二十）9點至2月2日9點。

COMAP同時宣布2016年MCM/ICM競賽不再要求郵寄紙質版論文，只需要郵寄參賽選手簽名後的Control Sheet，而且收到Control Sheet的截止時間為美國東部時間2月26日，相比往年有大幅度延長。這一變更將極大的節省各參賽隊的郵寄成本。

註：提交論文電子版的要求沒有變化，仍然需要在競賽結束前按要求將論文電子版發送到指定郵箱。

8月19日根據最新消息補充：

通過email提交電子版論文的時間改為美國東部時間2月1日21點，即北京時間2月2日10點。競賽結束時間不變，仍為美國東部時間2月1日20點。

發展歷史

1985年，在美國科學基金會的資助下，創辦了一個名為「數學建模競賽」（Mathematical Competition In Modeling 後改名Mathematical Contest In Modeling，簡稱MCM）一年一度的大學水平的競賽。

MCM的宗旨是鼓勵大學師生對范圍並不固定的各種實際問題予以闡明、分析並提出解法，通過這樣一種結構鼓勵師生積極參與並強調實現完整的模型構造的過程。它是一種徹底公開的競賽，每年只有若干個來自不受限制的任何領域的實際問題。

學生以三人組成一隊的形式參賽，在四天內任選一題，完成該實際問題的數學建模的全過程，並就問題的重述、簡化和假設及其合理性的論述、數學模型的建立和求解（及軟體）、檢驗和改進、模型的優缺點及其可能的應用范圍的自我評述等內容寫出論文。由專家組成的評閱組進行評閱，評出優秀論文，並給予某種獎勵。

它只有唯一的禁律，就是在競賽期間不得與隊外任何人（包括指導教師）討論賽題，但可以利用任何圖書資料、互聯網上的資料、任何類型的計算機和軟體等，為充分發揮參賽學生的創造性提供了廣闊的空間。
