獲取高等學校教師資格證。當大學老師，需要至少大學本科以上的學歷，因為高等學校教師資格證報考至少需要大學本科畢業。

Ⅸ 要當大學英語教師需要具備哪些條件

要當大學英語老師，不同的學校有不同的要求：
（1）去985、211的大學當英語版教師，一般要求名校畢權業的英語博士研究生或英語博士後，發表過較高水平學術論文、有承接過含金量較高的科研項目;
（2）去二本院校當英語教師，現在一般至少得上外、北外、北大、南京大學等外語頂尖學府畢業的優秀碩士或英語博士;
（3）教師資格證肯定是關鍵。如果要成為英語專業的老師的話，應該要過專業四級、八級的。若沒有這些證書，那四六級也要高分；如果有中高口或者BEC的證書應該會更好的，不過話說現在大學的老師都要至少碩士以上的學位。
